What Is Treatment Protocol?
Treatment consists of 4 phases designed to determine treatment dose, provide a robust treatment, gradually taper down treatment, and provide treatment maintenance. The typical treatment schedule is twice a week for 6-7 weeks (titration and primary treatment phases), then once a week for 4 weeks (secondary treatment phase), and tailored maintenance phase based on response. Each treatment lasts approximately 2 hours and is administered in office. A ride home after treatment is required.

What Is Ketamine?
Ketamine is a medication which was developed in 1962 and approved by the FDA for use in anesthesia and as a pain reliever during medical procedures in 1970. It was used extensively by soldiers during the Vietnam war. More recent studies have shown that ketamine is often helpful in the treatment of depression and potentially other psychiatric conditions such as anxiety and PTSD.
